The proposed project aims to amalgamate a number of different campuses through a complete rebuild of the West Campus site. This is to become a traditional 7-12 school with a focus towards R&D (bias towards S.T.E.M.).

The new buildings have been designed to facilitate the educational outcomes with learning spaces that will be open-planned to allow flexible Learning & Collaboration. The flexibility of the open-planning allows students to work in pairs, small or large groups, and teachers can work collaboratively or create spaces for meetings as needed.

The design framework references the underlying geological structures of the area and surrounds. The basaltic plains with naturally occurring hexagonal structures and columns. The referencing and abstraction of the hexagon has been used as a distinct design driver throughout the design development.
